Extended shelf life (E.S.L)

 Extended shelf life products include all bagged products. E.S.L products have a 21 to 28 day shelf life (including day of production).

ESL products must be reheated to a minimum of 75 degrees prior to consumption.

These products include, but are not limited to:

Short shelf life (S.S.L)

Short shelf life have a 5 day shelf life which includes day of production and day of consumption.

These products include, but are not limited to:

  • main meals(Please click to see Regular Easy to Chew and Soft and Bite sized product spec sheets but only refer to the master data sheet to check the suitabilty of each meal to different diet codes)
  • vegetables

All main meal and vegetables must be reheated to a minimum of 75 degrees prior to consumption.
