Medi-Chef aims to comply with legislative requirements in declaring the common ingredients known to cause allergic reactions when they are present in food.
The following ingredients are:
- Crustaceans and their products (e.g. prawns)
- Peanuts and their products
- Soybeans and their products
- Tree nuts and their products
- Sesame seeds and their products
- Fish and fish products
- Milk and milk products
- Gluten and cereals containing gluten ( wheat, rye, oats, barley and spelt)
- Added sulphites (in concentrations of 10mg/kg or more)
- Lupin
Note that Medichef provides gluten free and lactose free food items from a kitchen where non-gluten free and non-lactose free food is also produced.
